if its happening more then that shouldn't be the case, unless your including your consen saves from your caster being attack, which isn't quite the same thing
You're just having good luck then. It almost always breaks faster one turn or before.
They are already turbobroken and you want them to be *even better*?? Really?
even with that said, if you manage to get any free hits in because of it, its basically a death sentence, cause of how many advantages it stacks for you
Paladins can cast a smite spell and then divine smite on top of that and double the damage of both. It's nuts. At level 5 I'm using Thunderous Smite on top of level 2 divine smite and one hit from that deals 6d6 thunder 6d8 divine and 4d6 greatsword when it crits. Which is instant death.
One hit can easily clear 60-70 damage.
And a save at the end of their turn to see if they succeed in escaping.
This is completely fine and normal.
What's the alternative? They fail one save and that's it? They're dead because they get no chance to escape?
My thusfar highest hit was 132
But to be fair, that build is still highly unoptimized. At some point i'll build the optimal oneshot machine and see how high I can push it.
They’re idiots who think throwing multiple fireballs every round is what constitutes fun.
