Remember, you freed Orpheus and the only reason any of you are able to resist is because of Orpheus's power. I gather Orpheus just stopped giving The Emperor his protection and he fell back under control of the brain.
Could be, but Orpheus is still bound at that moment, and supposedly the Emperor still has control over him until he leaves the Astral Plane? I'm not sure though.
The only way The Emperor fights you is if you free Orpheus, and Orpheus has every reason to *hate* The Emperor. So if you free Orpheus it makes sense for him to not protect the squid.
I think the one without integrity here is you.
Minthara seems okay as a character. She's just messed up, got captured, tadpoled, messed up again, and then discarded. Nothing special about her in that sense.
Bro, he literally tells you in your face that you're his puppet and that he manipulated you the same way he manipulated Stelmane.
Especially since the moment he leaves he should get instantly assimilated by the netherbrain.
Minthara's story seems very unfinished. which is weird for a character that requires you to ditch 2 (potentially 3) other companions just so she can be added to your rooster.
