BG3 Orin 0 hp??
I gotta say it's quite a shame when in game and lore wise we've literally seen that Orin is a HUGE villain possessing one of the stones we need

and then we fight her in a barn and bring her down to 0 hp and can only knock her unconscious. You're telling me not ONE character in the party thinks 'lets take what we need from her so we can save the world'

OR

'Hey what if we brought her to camp and tied her up for information'???

Why are we allowed to fight AND decimate her and blow her up, but she only ends up knocked out? She's not Ketheric Thorn, she might be embodying an avatar, but she's not immortal (as far as I know at least)

At least give us the option to tie her up, or to try taking the item we need from her.. or at least give one of the characters a quirky little bit of dialogue like 'oh hey isn't that one of the three BBEGs? Wow, neat, well that was easy'

This is basically just a rant post but it does certainly irritate me a little, and I think it's bad writing to let the players fight a main antagonist and have no benefit come of it. Maybe some knowledge? Some funny dialog? Maybe we can roll an arcana or investigation on her check to learn of her powers?

I turned her into a pile of gore in the temple of baal after a duel but ok.

You can fight her in the entrance to act 3 basically as soon as you enter the city, I fought her at the requisitioned barn with friends after seeing a 'lvl 12 guard' with 12 hp

fighting in a duel and in a temple of baal sounds way cooler though

Thing is though she ends up 'knocked out' while at 0 hp, she doesn't die, but you can't loot anything valuable from her, nor is there any dialogue or unique interaction from knocking her out. The party doesn't think of tying her up and taking her to camp to question her, nor do any party characters think of just taking the weapon she has.

Don't worry - it's a very minor issue compared with endgame DC 99 check ;)

Yeah but you lose either way there even if you do nat 20, and if you nat 20 you get a negligible buff right?

Nah, you're losing even in case of nat 20. So technically you're rolling dice with a predetermined result.
