Game crashes to black screen and monitor says no input...can still hear game sound often.
CPU: i9 12900k
GPU: 3080ti
Win 11
Temps are always in green. 50c-73c

Played at launch for dozens of hours with no issues. seemed to have started after hotfixes.

Crash happens randomly while playing and I am forced to restart.
I have removed and reinstalled game and drivers. ran steam integrity. tested GPU and CPU with multiple other programs and games with no crashes or similar issues. Turned off unnecessary background programs. Replaced PSU with new larger Corsair PSU. Replaced/reseated cables and so on. Nothing seems to help and it ONLY occurs while playing BG3.

I tried playing at lower graphic settings and switching between DX11 and Vulkan...still happens. I also loaded games from early and late game with same issues.
no overclock.

Are there any solutions I may be missing or should i just wait for the patches?

this has been happening to me as well.

Ryzen 9 7900x and 7900xt

ive tried NUMEROUS things to try and help but nothing has fixed it yet. I run EVERY game extremely well but bg3 is the one game i just can't play. I've been waiting for another patch and see if it works and or another driver update

Ryzen 780x3d 7900xtx had a 5900x system as well both crash and it's been getting more unstable as they've been patching so hopefully they'll get around to fixing this.

Check your GPU temps. I doubt its the games fault. I didnt had a single crash in 80h.

Ah you checxked them already. Role back a driver than.
Never upgrade your GPU driver when all runs fine.
73° is kind of hot tho.

same happening to me, Ryzen 7 5800x, 3070, temps are fine. Tried everything op mentioned (including replacing PSU), still no changes. Only happens with BG3. This is driving me insane

Same issue, though sometimes I get green screen instead of black.

Hilarious they still couldn't fix this issue which is clearly game related, as most people can run other games perfectly fine.
