Unholy assassin benefits?

Is there any benefit to becoming an unholy assassin? Does it change the game or the ending in some way? If you save Valeria, they become an ally whereas Im not seeing the positives of becoming a Bhaalist. I saw someone mentioned the PC starts muttering murderous stuff later in combat but thats about it.
