Never heard it referred to as that before though.
It was such a strange sense of disappointment. I'd been gleefully hoarding the items that weren't good enough to use, but could be fed to Gale. I had a carefully curated collection of snacks for the dude, and then he just goes and rehabilitates himself.
"Eat this Gale! I know it's the unique Lathander's Blood Morningstar of Morningwood Glory God.
EAT IT!
I killed every druid in the grove so you could have this silly statue. Swallow it whole, with this admaminte platemail, and this greatmaul of magic-massiveness as a side.
I want to watch while you devour every magic item I find until not a single one of them is left.
Go ON! Swallow! Now!!!
Muarhaharharhahr"
He only needs like 3 magical artifacts before he doesn't complain about it anymore.
How is this even an issue? By the end of ACT 1 you'll have already more then enough magical weapons, rings, amulets etc. then you know what to do with it.
I want to say he stopped asking after three for me
