Help. Everyone in camp randomly started attacking me and I don't know why

As the title says. Everyone in camp (except for my current party members, Wyll and Haslin) suddenly initiated combat against me, even scratch and the owl bear cub are listed as enemies. I think the reason why is related to me stealing the idol of sylvanus (I had already helped the refugees and wanted to see if haslin had any unique dialogue, he didn't) but there was no conversation of everyone being upset at me. I remember in a pre-release interview one of the devs said that your companions will turn on you if they think you're too evil but I didn't expect it be so sudden with no dialogue.

If someone else has come across this or think's this might be something entirely different please let me know. I have a save I can easily reset too but I really want to keep the idol

Oh glad I'm not the only one, hahaha. I'm in the inn room, happily decorating with stuff I had in the chest stored away. Placed the Idol of Sylvanus on a table, moved it around so it looks nice. And suddenly everybody is aggroing me, lol. Pets attack as well. Guess that idol is *very* important

Halsin I can understand, but this is just lazy programming. I've had instances of talking my way into buildings, chests, etc. but they remain red and the NPC immediately forgets telling me I can use them.

So anything red will just anger the surrounding NPCs, regardless of context or story.

Yep, it's a bit silly with the "crime" reactions. Suddenly saving the city aint important anymore, cause I picked up a damn statue they all gonna kill me :__D
