Co-Op Family sharing.
Me and my son are looking forward to purchashe the game and i wonder is it possible to play the game Co-Op (Lan or Network) with Steam family share function with only 1 purchased coppy of the game. I am Bulgarian and buying 2 coppies is very pricy for me but.. even if we are not able to do soo i will get 2 coppies because i love Larian and i bet they did amazing job once again.

As far as i know family sharing never made something like that possibe. Also you do realize this is a 18+ game? This is not a game to play with your kids.

No, you cannot play in such a way. I have tried and it does not work. I have even purchased two copies of the game , one for each Steam account, and it still does not work.

In early access I was doing it, you could open as many game instances as you wanted. Have to check now.

i don't think so it doesn't have the play together tag like divinity original sin 2
If you buy it on GoG you can both sign in and use the same account.

family sharing as whole works on a rule that you're lending someone else your whole library while you're not using it, you can't use it to play at the same time - you need two copies to play together

Family share will not allow for this
when the owner of the game launches it no other accounts can play it
Family sharing does nto mean play the game on two different compuiters at the same time.

I would not recommend playing this with kids. At all. Unless they're 16-18.

Um... That has to be user error. My son and I each own a copy of the game and play together regularly over LAN.

You can splitscreen or hotseat the game; this is what I'd recommend.

I sure hope it's user error, but I'd like to know how. User A and User B, while in the multiplayer create game lobby, can verify that their game host names show "User A game" or "User B game", respectively, for both LAN and Online game types, so it seems to be that each user is identified properly. But when User A tries to join the User B lobby, or vice versa, then the error message "you are already connected" appears.
