[SPOILERS] Act 2 Companion never joined?

So I just finished Act 2, and realized Jaheria was no longer in the camp. So I go looking it up online incase it's a bug and... turns out it was 'half' a bug.

It turns out despite me having already spoken to her about joining forces we we stormed the tower, I needed to speak to her a second time right before jumping into the Mind Flayer colony underneath?

The issue is, as soon as the first Ketheric Thorm fight resolved she just vanished. There WAS no option to speak to her, she just disappeared. That probably should of have been when I started checking for bugs, but I figured it might've been a scripted event.

Now I'm 4 hours later from that point and just now realising what happened. And debating if it's worth reloading and playing those four hours to recruit her, or if I should just keep playing as is? As I never did intend to add her to the main party anyways.

EDIT: I just reloaded the save and did the first fight again, same thing happened of Jaheria just disappearing as soon as the fight ends. No chance given to speak to her.

Well if you aren't gonna let her in seems pointless to reset, just pick her up on a playthru you intend to let her in the party I say

It's more for talking to her in the camp, and getting quests and options related to her. But yea, i am tempted to just leave her for a later playthrough.

Update. I got to the entrance of Baldurs Gate went to the camp to switch out party members and there I found Jaheria waiting at camp, in panther form, though she wildshaped out when talked to.

Unsure if the articles claiming how she joins are outdated, or if this is still a bug that corrected itself. But it seems resolved now.

u can loss her on act 3, i just show her once in the first camp of act 3 then she vanished,turns out that u need her to get the last companion so its 2 x 1
