Brilliant.
true. multi classing will just screw your character if you just pick random classes and don't know what you are doing.
If you do know what you are doing then why the ♥♥♥♥ are you playing on easy mode?
The games far far FAR too easy on tactician already.
But it not being a default option for easy mode is entirely reasonable. Any DM worth their salt would strongly advise against it for a inexperienced player at their table (particularly when that player is running 4+ chars at once) and BG3 does the same thing.
I'm totally new to the game and have no experience in D&D. I usually only play simulation games like Cities Skylines, Sims 3 or Prison Architect XD
So I don't want to fail immediately in the fights. I'd rather experience the story. So my preferred difficulty would actually be "Explorer" to explore the world and experience the story at leisure.
But now that I've read a lot on the Internet about multiclass options and the "best variants", I would still be interested in the possibilities without dying at the first opportunity.
I find the exclusion of multiclass in the easiest difficulty level really annoying, mainly because Larian actually wanted to give the players maximum freedom and possibilities in the game under the motto: "everything is possible".
You could have simply pointed out in the description for "explorer" that multiclass is more for experienced players and you can "scrap" the character if in doubt, but that shouldn't be a drama because of the easy difficulty. So it would also be possible to experience at least the options and possibilities of a multiclass without dying all the time. As a kind of "experimental mode".
So I'm looking for a mod, but I can't quite understand this decision or this "ban" on multiclass in easy difficulty, even if multiclass is aimed more at experienced players. For me, a story mode doesn't necessarily contradict trying out multiclassing.
Sorry about my bad English, it's not my mother tongue.
