Can You Own a Home in BG3?
I can't find the answer anywhere.

No, but some of the characters do. Jaheira runs an orphanage, and Wyll is basically heir to Baldurs Gate, Lae'zel's home is the back of a dragon, soaring the astral plane.
shart's home is 'home is where the heart is'

Sounds like someone who never played BG2, there were class strongholds which acted in the same manner. The fighter stronghold collected taxes in the region that you could go pickup

Just move into one of the houses which are uninhabited. Noone will mind it.

Exactly, I was kinda dismayed that Rolan popped out of nowhere and took over Ramazith's tower, when my sorc killed the wizard. Like Rolan? For real? Why not my MC? T_T

Also there are a few opportunities in caves below Baldurs Gate which have nice infrastructure including water ways and hatches up to shops.
not yet.
but, we have a camp. which is kind of the same thing.
i think you can even decorate it, but like, i dont think that works very well because it will reset.

but theres no true house. in act 3 you can have a hotel room which is pretty nice, you can come and go as you please without using supplies, so it becomes your home basically. So, I guess in that way, then yes, you do own a home, or at least a room.
A fixed home would be great in BG3 and i hope they patch it in future i collect some stuff for that and saved it in my crate on the camps 😅 would be a great and fun thing

ahhh yes, i remember oblivion getting microtransactions.
all i shall say is pathfinder kingmaker and pathfinder wrath of the righteous. both based on pathfinder (DnD adjacent) and one you run an entire kingdom, the other is you run a fortress and control armies along with your own party.

None of which were implemented well enough. Unless you're using the automated function, which in turn blocks you off from doing certain things.

This thread was quite old before the recent posts, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
