You were forced to use the special tadpole? That sucks.
As for the OP question, you can sneak around the back. It's not a huge deal if you get imprisoned (story-wise), but I reloaded to avoid it because I didn't want to sort through everyone's items after breaking out.
and it's not gimmick, they litterally have the same ilithid parasites and use your own detect thoughts against you.
you shouldn't attack the steel watch untill you made it to the factory area near the docks and follow the questline to weaken gortash.
LMAO.
I reloaded and did the fight for exactly this reason aswell.
I couldn't be bothered to redo the entire inventory load balancing for everyone so i just defeated them.
What?
Who do you refer to? I spared everyone up to that point, and I was sent to prison too.
Maybe you're supposed to be arrested in order to rescue a certain someone from the cell across from yours and a bit to the right...
Gnomes from Grymforge supposed to get you out of this whole encounter. You are not supposed to get into prison if you done their quest lines.
That's not what happens at all. The steel watch are evil.
Yes, if you're talking about the steel watcher and flaming fists at the bridge / checkpoint before you enter wyrmrock fortress.
