Is my Shadowheart bugged?

I've been trying to romance Shadowheart since the beginning, and her approval of me is near maximum at exceptional. Going into the endgame of Act 3, nothing has moved forward in terms of romance. She's stuck on 2 dialogue options, of which the responses never change. Here are the specifics:


Act 1
I was not able to share a romantic scene with her, but I did refuse Lae'zel and Karlach

Act 2
I let her decide to either kill or spare Nightsong; and she spared her becoming a Selunite.

Act 3
I let her decide on her parents fate and she chose to sacrifice them and free herself of Shar's influence.

However, after this moment - the curse still affects her from time to time and remarks "Are the gods so cruel?"

I'm thinking this has to be a bug because her quest line should have removed her curse when she sacrificed her parents.

Is she bugged, and is there any way to fix it and remove her curse and progress her dialogue options?

Bugged most likely, encountered the same problem after Act 3 scene with the arthritis.

Did you get the wine scene in Act 1 and Act 3 beach scene? Beach is the final romance scene, after that she just repeats. Nothing substantial happens after that.

don't worry, the bug is honestly doing you a favour. You don't want to romance Shadowcuck. Minthara is the better choice.

please understand that dev resources were focused on making show the bear sex romance triggered properly. thank you for you understanding.

This is a good thing, now you can focus on the bear sex romance instead like the devs intended.

I have similar issue with Karlah. Chose to romance her in ACT I and didnt get the scene itself. Though thats how it suppose to go, but after few youtube videos found out that i was missing some. Now in ACT II cant proceed. Game decided i didnt want to romance her, even though clicked to spend the night with her....

you still can romance the bear guy, so it all worked out in the end.

You might have missed the romance lock in or encountered a bug. The cutoff, at least in my playthroughs, with Shadowheart is late Act 2 and Early Act 3. The option where you want to truly connect with her is what brings up the wine scene iirc, if you skip it for too long it disappears.

im pretty sure its bugged cause from your choices the curse was suppose to be listed, in any case, it doesn't matter. Also, be prepared for the worst ending though, cause she has zero dialogue in the ending if you romance her lol
