Can I still romance Astarion?

It's still possible if you don't trigger the scenes. which happens when you rest at camp. or talk to them about it, like for lae'zel who's able to be romanced right at your arrival in the grove.

Some people like that about him and enjoy being in an abusive relationship.

Others enjoy being the abuser to the abuser. Like for myself, after his long story arc and him achieving true happiness I told him to go back to camp, entered turn mode, tossed him off a bridge with telekinesis and walked away.
