I don't know why it was cut.
I share your thoughts.
I can only explain it to myself that from the viewpoint of an absolute beginner that it was quite overwhelming and confusing. The chances getting downed early was much higher too that way.
Because they took something away.
It was a great introduction to show how scary and strong the power of psychic is to the new players, especially those who were not familar with Mindflayers lore.
That I really don't understand. At first I thought I did something wrong - but it really isn't there anymore -.-.
Troll somewhere else.
Tbh i can fully understand why THAT part got cutted:
- why should fisher go anywhere near a f*cking mindflayer wreckage which just dropped from the sky? Everyone know mindflayers = hell on earth = stay away
- it's located in the wilderness, the druid grove is according to the Thieflings 10 days marsh away from Baldurs Gate / any other settlement and no fisher would row his boot 10 days away from his living area it was unrealistic that there were fisher there in the beginning
I never played ea. the only thing I found weird was trying to save shadowheart . The games makes it seem like you can . I spent ages wandering up and down looking for a way to help her only to give up and find out that actually you can’t .
I've noticed, friend. We ordered a T-bone steak, and got a pleasant ham-sandwich.
