Duke ravengard and iron throne
Anyone know what happened to duke ravengard if you go to iron throne without attending the coronation, while logic wise he won't be there since he's the one anoint gorthas but so far i searched the net if you go to iron throne without visiting the coronation then only the gondians there and he will classified as dead? Anyone can share their experience with this one?

I did not care about him or Wyll, so I did not go check. I was at the ceremony, but not at the Iron Throne, though, as I was honoring my bargain with Gortash.
Wyll's devil offered in camp to break his contract in exchange for his father's life. There was an entry in the journal afterwards (I said yes) that said we might still save him if we are in time.

If you made the same decision and went resting, I assume he dies.

So the best way forward is to do all the side-quests first, then do the Coronation, then the Iron Throne, and finally Orin?

I am not sure if you can weasel out of the coronation, although it should be possible. Would be funny if you could save the duke before the coronation, but that is probably off the table.

I think I will just disable the robots first, then save the duke, slay Gortash and finally visit Orin. I did not do the first three in first run, so I might as well in nr. 2.

If you want to save the duke then you need to attend coronation first then go to iron throne. When mizora tells you to go to coronation but you don't and choose to go straight to iron throne then inside iron throne there's only gondians and might be oomelum if you don't give the egg to lady esther (stupid old hag), the cell that supposed to contain duke is empty, then when you return back to wyrm's crossing mizora is still there and if you talk to her, she mention that the duke is now dead and offer a deal with wyll about his soul for life under mizora in exchange for daddy's life or let daddy totally dead in exchange of free from his contract in camp.

tl;dr go to coronation first then proceed with everything

Thank you for this I was wondering if I could do all the Riverton quests connected with Lower City and Lower City quests before coronation, but now I now I have to assist first and then do the other stuff.
Been raking my brain on what to do first. I already finished all the ONLY Riverton quests, or so I think, I checked the whole map and talked to everybody.
Thanks again.

Mine was tangled up.

Went to coronation, Wyll broke free of his contract letting the Duke remain captive, got some dialogues about Wyll basically sacrificing his father for his own soul that didn't quite line up. (Cuz I mean the Duke was fine, just captive.)

Then when I killed Orin Wyll said something about "Oh hooray, we saved my father." Then I went and saved the Duke and the Gondians from the iron throne like waaay later. It all worked out, Duke is fine, Wyll is free but still transformed and no longer a warlock poser.

There are several things in act 3 that are unfinished. If you go to the Iron throne early the duke disappears from the game and the Wyll quest line is gone. They never anticipated that people would go explore the city before the coronation. The same thing when you go visit Sarevok before you solve the murders. You go there as if its the end of the quest with the severed hand magically in your inventory. The didnt anticipate the creativity of players in act3 in other ways also. I went up and killed Gortash before the coronation and it broke the game. Its sucks that this game is lacking in so many ways.

This!. Completely agree. I mean it's not like Mizora is the most reliable source for anything. The fact that she is the only one that nudges you to assist to the coronation the moment you set foot near the fort it's not really a good omen.

I can't really make any sense in how they not envisioned all the players running wild to Baldur, as a child after the pandemia entering a Disney park, the moment some quest, bribe of shortcut allowed them to.

I mean, everybody has been waiting for 100 hrs, give or take, fighting through Act I and Act II, to get to Baldur. For crying out loud is in the title of the game.

Who wants to go first to a boring coronation to have it rubbed in by Gortash?.

According to Larian?, everybody... :steamfacepalm:

whats funny is that Mizora will stay on the bridge outside after you talk to her for the rest of the game if you dont go to the coronation

He dies if you skip the coronotion, even if you try to knock him out with none lethal attacks.

I thought i was being smart by destroying the steel watchers and the factory before attending coronation but ofc gortash's discovers what you're doing during the iron throne mission so basically i missed the entire coronation.
