Lae'zel Romance Scenes not Triggering

I started my first play through as a blue dragon sorcerer (chain-lightning Twinned spell + create water = 320 max Aoe) and I wanted to romance Lae'zel.

I got into a romance with her, but for some reason I never got any of her scenes. After killing the goblin leaders I picked "dream about lae'zel" and then nothing happened. Then fast forward to the third act and I get the conversation about having a "tender caress" with her, and then I get forced into a story cutscene with the emperor and nothing happens.

Did I do something wrong? Or am I just progressing through the story too quickly?

romance is low priority as it were, so if you have too many events stacked up to get through when you long rest in theory you may never get there

well that sucks

does that mean that they won't trigger at all? or can i just spam long rest or something?

i wish knew. im doing a dark urge run and i had would take 3 or 4 extra long reasts when i rest just to get through all the events and now i think im to far to trigger the scene with her

Okay so, apparently, theres one romance scene per act. So as long as you don't progress to the next act of the game before you encounter the scene then you should be fine. Just got her final one in act three.

well ive done everything in act one and now can go to act two and i just did a rest test and i rested as many times as i could and no scene triggered so i guess i will just miss it
