Also, you can go out of the zone just as you entered. You will need to ♥♥♥♥ around a little bit to find the right spot but it is possible to get out of it.
I've done it myself.
Careful that, if you go kill thorm, you won't be able to make shadowheart do her "difficult choice". You won't be able to end the temple of shar quest, but her personal quest will keep progressing just no hair makeover of any kind and i think also romance gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.
But why are you saying that i can defeat it 100%? Isn't nightsong supposed to help (whatever that means) only if you complete the gauntlet?
I will try to post a screenshot of my predicament....
I believe its impossible because there's a height difference between these two areas that i teleported. Initially it was higher to lower, but now it's the opposite..and my camera won't move much with WASD to help me identify a possible teleport location.
So, i teleported with mystic dash to that location with my main character.
Then i had shadowheart cast Dimension Door and take Wyll with her. They didn't teleport to the exact same spot, but at least i could click on the MC's portrait allowing me to WASD the camera freely on the other side. Finally, mystic dash with Lae'zel on the same spot as the MC.
The main problem was managing to do the first teleport. The rest don't require finding that magic pixel
I made a thread about this, but i'm from mobile and cba to find it and link it.
They were pretty smart about it, making sure if you got up to some shenanigans you could still best the encounters lol
Tbh that was my first reaction, I remember being absolutely impressed at the wit and foresight but after seeing that a bunch of stuff breaks if you enter and do the encounter like that I think that this is not intended and a lucky coincidence.
The door loads a level and checks if nightsong has been killed. Since it was not killed, it loads it in the scene and gives you the fight just as if you had done pt1 of the encounter correctly (or just skipped the temple of shar, since that's an option too).
I don't think it is intentional for an additional reason: if you go to the temple of sharr after killing thorm, you will be able to enter to "kill nightsong" but she won't be there and you will be softlocked inside with no way to exit and no character ad any point recognizing that you have already freed nightsong
