Is Entropic Ward Broken?

Entropic Ward has never successfully negated an attack for me. I have tried using it on a critical hit, and it didn't even negate the crit. I'm not going to pretend like I haven't rolled two nat 20s on an attack before, but at a certain point the numbers don't work. After numerous attempts to negate attacks or crits unsuccessfully, it certainly starts to seem like the ability simply doesn't work. Has anyone else ran into this issue, or do I just have a perfectly bad stroke of luck?

It might be bugged, since there are other posts about trouble with that class feature. One said he cannot use hellish rebuke anymore since he got the ward (I don't know what twisted MC that is).

Makes sense. I've been able to use Hellish Rebuke, it's just iffy/iffy since they both use reactions. Theirs may be bugged slightly differently than mine, though. I assume twisted MC is probably the... Dark One origin, I think it's called? I'm not 100% sure that's what they would be referring to though.

As soon as I got Entropic Ward, Hellish Rebuke just vanished from my Reactions tab. I still have the spell slotted. Haven't seen any success with Entropic Ward at all.

No, I meant multiclass. He has to MC, or he could not get both unless I miss something.

Yeah, that's a much worse issue than the one I'm having. Hopefully, if they don't fix both at once, that issue is addressed first.

Totally misunderstood that haha Sorry about that! I think just Great OId One can do both. I got both, and I haven't done any multiclassing, unless I broke something when leveling my warlock, and didn't realize it.
