It doesn't surprise me that he can sing his own song while fighting, I hadn't thought of such a strong and wonderful characterization for a character, I only know that when I realized that he personally sang during the fight (and with that wonderful voice and melody) I had shivers on the skin
but this is one of those things they did right in a way no one could've predicted. This was god tier. I didnt even know fighting him was an option. That entire quest was amazing, and Hope became my favorite character in the game.
This is the gift that keeps on giving. Every time someone makes one of these threads waxing effusive about the campest, most bizarre addition to gaming history, I lose it… It’s so funny.
The song is so bombastically naff that it's the clearest sign of the ‘divide’ that exists between the two types of people who play this game.
I really think they should create a whole game this camp, just dial it up for every character, every battle.
And ‘play test’ it as a psychological study. The results would be simply mind-blowing.
Again, the ‘genius’ poetry of the lyrics (someone once thought I was being serious – allow me to confirm, the tone here is mockery):
Hell, Hell, Hell has its laws
Hell, Hell, effects and the cause
Curtain falls, but hold your applause
Squirm, squirm, for now down here come the claws
