It is true. I have to think the devs intended this, because you get her right away, classic damsel in distress moment, she's friendly towards you pretty much immediately, she's one of the only healers, yet also comes with a nice toolbox of other useful tricks, and she's basically the only really attractive female character in the core cast. There's no way they didn't intend her to be the game's sweetheart.

Yeaaahhh...No, Shadowheart is easy and shoved into your face, within the story she is given the most ground of all the other Companions, does not mean she is the best Companion.

I prefer Minthara by far.
