No character romance in Act 3

In this playthrough, I've been pursuing a romance with Shadowheart. I have a very high approval rating with her, and I've finished her personal quest all the way through.

That being said, I didn't have a chance to romance her during Act 1 or Act 2.

Now, in Act 3, I'm not getting any choice whatsoever to romance her despite the aforementioned.

Is it impossible to romance a character in Act 3 if you haven't done so prior in other Acts?

if you didn't kiss her in Act 1, you locked yourself out. but don't feel bad though, there's no epilogue ending in this game. you'll get some i love yous and what not after you finally complete her act 3 quest, but that's about it.

Act 3 is when you're meant to be bored of humanoid sex, having been presented with a veritable smorgasbord. You move on to demons and mind flayers.

Something I'll have to remedy in my second playthrough it seems.

Note that romancing options are locked if she becomes a Dark Justiciar after killing Nightsong in Act 2

- Go back to the Act 1 area and sleep for the night. As long as nothing is going on in the story, she will come to you.
- Next, go back to the Act 2 area and sleep for the night. Same deal.
- Now, go to the Act 3 area and sleep for the night. Same deal.

Of coarse that is possible to romance in Act 3. I got an offer from Halsin for a threesome with Shadowheart at the beginning of Act 3. I'm pretty sure if I ditch Shadowheart, it would be easy to romance Lae'zel or Karlach in no time; my approval for both are almost as high as Shadowheart.

Just go for Karlach or Minthara in act 3 Lazel, unless you already spurned her in act 1 or 2. You usually have to choose between her and ShadowBox

Why's this being revived after a year lol. Don't worry guys, I'm over 300hrs in now, everyone has been romanced.
