How to fight Elder Brain (Solved)
It just keeps sending enemies at me. I killed the dragon and all the other enemies and now it just sends either a Mindflayer or 3 of the brain enemies each turn.

Edit: I figured it out. The game wanted me to use the Parasite in my Inventory in order to get the spell. That's how you trigger the spell on your characters.

Use the artifact to get control of the crown.

I just ignored the dragon, sent everyone either on left platform slide or right one, during the run i casted spells to keep away meele, and i made sure to wipe out the floor with mindflayers as fast as possible. I used lvl 6 sphere of immunity near the crown once everyone get there(one of the teammembers died), so that emperor can finish his cast on crown.

Do you mean the stones? Cause it doesn't do anything when I click on them and when I get near the crown it just says that its too far away.

1) Remember you can go into turn based to caste hastes, do oils and take elixers (bloodlust or universal resistance are my choices) before going up the ladder to start the fight.

2) Use heavy DPS characters like a battle master fighter that's been hasted, or a berserker barbarian 9 / 3 fighter champion with a dual handed weapon, or a sorcerer with a bunch of sorc points to take out the dragon.

3) Once you kill the dragon use Jump to get to the mindflayer mages that will fling magic missile at you.

4) Get some crowd control going and then take your mindflayer character and have them use the special "dominate crown" skill for a turn.

You need to be basically standing right next to the crown to use the stone ability.

You need to use the the ability the artifact gives on the crown, but only a fully transformed mindflayer can use it.
I assume you have the netherstone artifact on you, and you probably took the special tadpole off the Emperor but have not used it yet.
Someone needs to transform to use the netherstone artifact, if you don't have an NPC agree to use the artifact.

You have to stand very close to the crown for the stones to work then last 1 turn without being attacked.

Use your mindflayer ally to use their special ability on the crown of karsus, after 1 round a portal to the inner brain opens.

Ah ok then that's what I was missing. I didn't realize the stones gave me an ability since my bars are full up.

What if you don't have a mind flayer ally?

I was reading online is that who ever assimilated the stones is the one who has the ability. So if it doesn't show up in your spell bar try opening the spell menu.

When I get home from work I'll see if it is there. Hopefully I just missed it and the game didn't bug out.

Please don't put the name of the enemy in the title. This is a spoiler.

Afaik that's impossible, the game will force you into either handing the stones to the Emperor, turning yourself/party member into a mindflayer or Orpheus will turn himself. I'm not sure if there's a dialogue path during that whole sequence that can lead to a "game over" but in a couple paths I tried where I refused to give the stones to the Emperor then Raphael appears and forces you to make a deal with him to free Orpheus with no option to refuse. (obvs the previous choices I'd made were keep the Emperor around and not infiltrate the House of Hope)
