It might be easier on paladin oats though ( untested )
It comes up a few times where you can knock out an enemy for a specific reason. But otherwise like if you nonlethal'ed the druid grove, pretty sure they all count as dead.
Also it's can be disadvantegous for loot - a downed character sometimes doesn't have all the possible loot available. Killing him with an arrow after emptying the pockets might reveal new items. Also, ranged weapons always kill, no matter the non-lethal setting.
This doesn't work anymore. (as of HF2 / HF3)
Uff. This is bad.
It is weird enough that they would resort to killing you.. or you killing them.
It makes much more sense in the context to just beat them up.
Not having a proper reaction ingame for such action is a serious oversight.
Mince is the only one that has a scripted event tied with it.
There's another in the city, a certain loveable auntie.
Killing her she still shows up in the city, And bringing her low she gives you her hair and runs.
Otherwise no.
