My game looks wrong like TV static
I've been having problems with my game Blue Screening and I was trying out different things to fix it last night went to go try playing it today only now some textures especially clothes and plants when they move look like tv static to me

Does anyone know why it would be doing that?

do I need to change a setting in the game back to very high or something else?

Looks like "AI upscaling" artifacts, do you have DLSS or the amd equivalent enabled?

What video card are you using?

What GPU and other system spec you having? Blue screening usually is driver issue or hardware issue (like failing video or overheating video/CPU).

You can try reinstalling the drivers via DDU first, and make clean install on them.

Other than that, are you using any scale-ling in game such as dlls, fsr? Try changing that and see any difference.

What I notice from phone screen immediately is that you have blur effect on. "Depth of field" is the thing called.

I guess it should not affect clothes though...although I never use it to know for sure.

I looked to see if I had DLSS ion, but it's on None, and I can't even change it to DLSS if I wanted it only will let me change it to SMAA or TAA.

The card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

When I load up the game, it takes a moment or two for the game to load in things like textures and objects things will either won't be there or will look really blurry, almost as the game would look while it's being made and sometimes when I load the game now it's all white, and you can only see my mouse.

The only setting I had touched before this was changing everything in general to high and lighting down to medium, AMD FSR 1.0 to balanced, v-sync disabled because someone said that helped them and display mode to fullscreen as someone else also had that helped them.

By the way, I don't know if this means anything or will help but my display monitor is 42 FHD_LCD-TV.

All i can think of is change FSR to ultra quality or just turn it off and have TAA on and lower some settings. i dont know why you are getting blue screen have you updated drivers?

I will try doing that and yeah I updated them last night.

I was having this on DX11 but not on vulkan. Think it might have been something to do with DLSS

If its a DLSS issue you can download a mod which upgrades the DLSS to the most recent version, But from my knowledge DLSS does not cause jigget lines, It blurries things to hide the upscaling.

FSR is an equivalent tech to DLSS.. so either turn it off.. or try setting it to quality to see if its any better for you.

I have GTX 1660.
Turn off FSR.
Run in Vulkan.
Put all settings to medium.
Turn off Depth of Field.
Use TAA.

You can't run AMD fidelity on an Nvida card, just like you can't run RTX on AMD card It like tanking diesel on a petrol car and vice versa.
also RTX you can't use either. This technology simply not exist on your card. It like trying to watch colors on a black and white tv.
Turn the things in options that you just don't have off.

In this day and age, you can barely run anything with these new cards, With out issues either way, And DLSS is forced in most recent games, Baldur's gate is for me a exception, I run warhammer 40k like ♥♥♥♥ and it stutter laggy for no reason, Just because spaghetti code,
