Shadowheart Act 1 Romance Bug?

At the celebration after saving the grove Shadowheart is supposed to ask to share a drink after two lines of dialogue but she isn't asking me. The only reason I can think of is I may have accidentally triggered Karlach's romance at some point without realizing because there's a dialogue choice to flirt with her. However, that all happened before I started Shadowheart's romance. I'm not sure if there's a fix for this but it doesn't look like I can cut off Karlach's flirting stuff at this point. Any help with this?

This is especially annoying because Karlach's romance somehow triggered the moment she went from "neutral" to "fair" whereas it took longer for Shadowheart.

Shadowheart asking you out on the celebration was EA mechanic (lot of things has changed in the release since EA: romance, companions, dream sequences, illithid mechanics). On my current playthrough she asked me out only after I found out that she is worshipping Shar and had more positive interactions with her in regards to her past and her beliefs. Only after that she asked me out for a wine tasting during long rest.

Shadowheart is monogamous so yeah it's the Karlach thing.

This is totally false. It's still in the game.
Edit: but you do need to already know she's a heathen. That part is correct.

I just read somewhere that she makes a comment if I'm already spoken for but she doesn't say anything at all so now I'm especially confused.
Is there no way to fix this? The Karlach scene was so long ago that I don't even know if I have the save file anymore.

Okay I think I figured it out after going through it again. There's only 3 romance scenes, 1 per act. I triggered Shadowheart's act 1 romance scene way earlier than the goblin camp. Since it already triggered, I get nothing from her in the post-goblin camp scene.
They really gotta throttle the amount of approval you get in rapid succession to pace out the romance stuff so I don't feel like I get blueballed during parties.
