The romance design is so bad.
What If I'm not interested 5 hours into the game but i change my mind during the 90 hours of interacting with the companion?
Why would they force you to choose a romance partner in the freaking tutorial?
it isnt like real life at all.
In real life you dont have to flirt with someone every time you speak to them to make them like you, and you can break up or turn them down without never dating them ever again.
When you guys say this stuff i feel like you come off as incels.
You can also end the relationship with the character as well.
characters having sex with you isnt their romance. Sex and Romance events are completely separate in this game.

I have no idea is this game hard locking you out at this point, but we will see. I'm just testing. I'm not a HUGE fan of this romance system, it's nice touch, but little bit shallow. I't makes the characters look pretty thirsty, which is in my opinion unnecessary.
Party members affection is very easily maxed and after that they start flirting, which is kinda weird since there is no other routes like "friend" or "colleague" it's just romance or not. Would be nice to have maxed out relationship, go with "friend" route and gain something like unique cutscene buddies fishing or some background lore. Now there is only romance and sex.
I'd still rather take this system as it is than not having it all, but it feels a bit unpolished.
