Was it Just me or was Orin Pretty Easy?

The big concern for me was saving little Yenna. So I just had my barbarian walk down there while invisible, and land a massive blow on Orin's backside. She forgets all about giving her melodramatic BS monologue and just starts fighting, so Yenna lives. Party used lots of multi-fire spells like magic missile to wipe off Orin's multiple layers of "unstoppable". Lots of ledges all over the place to throw the other enemies off of. Orin was dead in a minute... fighting the other dudes on the platform was honestly more work.

For all the constant melodramatic dialogue Orin gushes with, she sure fell right over pretty darn quick when it finally came time for her to actually fight. Ketheric was much harder to take down. Haven't gone for Gortash yet. I'm not too worried about it. Probably take out Cazador first for our favorite vampire.

i killed her slowly with her followers up aswell and slowly beating her through unstopable i even got achievement for it but it was very easy just took a while she barely did any dmg

Yeah I had a very easy time with her, but was also max level and had read the book that gives advantage vs slayer so eh.

I had the same experience on tactician, after realizing that her followers were constantly immune i just used magic missile to remove her 10 stacks of invulnerbility and the figher / barb destroyed her in ~2 rounds. It's even an archievement to kill her that way. Don't know what Larian expected, attacking the followers with massive AOEs or 10 barrels?

Same deal with Gortash. Act 3 is unfinished.

I guess it is good that she is so easy because I had to do it over due to the hotfix corrupting some of my saves. Oops!

BG3 allows You to basicly Play by your own Rules to an Amazing Extend.
This Includes that if You Employ Invisibility to Ambush an Enemy You can even Avoid Cutscenes and Conversations and get the Jump on an Enemy.

Which can often make the Encounter ALOT Easier.

Lae'Zell's superiority die made very short work of Orin. It's hilarious that she gets hit with a trip attack and falls right over when she is in her "Bhaal" form. In fact with the superiority die attacks, you can keep using them even after the target is prone or disarmed -- they do significantly more damage. Lae'Zell was hitting for like 20 damage 3 times in a single turn... Orin only has like 140 hp or something. She was gone in a single round on my second assault.

She dies in 1 hit from falling to her death. Combat ended in 1 round. Easiest fight in act3
