PSA: Brass dragonborns get a unique fire breath!

If you pick red or gold as your subrace your fire breath will have a cone shape like every other subrace, but if you pick brass it'll instead be a rectangle. Makes it easier to use as a close range move, but makes it worse at long range.

Yeah it's cone or line for all types depending on the color, but if I remember correctly in the 5e phb it should be a 30 foot line, I don't know what it is in the game but it seems a bit short.

The breath weapons are pretty weak in BG3. They start off okay in the first few levels but dont scale as your level increases so they become mostly useless.

The old rules make the Dragonborn's breath weapon difficult.

I would also prefer the rules from "Fizban's Treasury of Dragons", it's nice that you can now freely choose +2 +1 for the attributes, but the short range of all tells the Dragonborn to be a melee fighter again.
