No immersion for the Half Orc

FFS can I get an Orc sounding voice please? Maybe some realistic hair?? I guess Larian thinks Orcs grew up in the big city as well and all sound and look like everyone else. SMH

+1, dunno why there isn't any burly/low bass/manly voice, I hate my char sissy snowflake voice :(

I have to agree that a deeper voice would be great to have for men, one fitting for half-orcs, draconians, dwarves, barbarians and such. Something more boisterous.

It would be one of my top 5 requests for character creation.

The other 4 for me would be:

-Optional tails for Tieflings like it is for Draconians, with different shapes.

-More beards.

-Tattoos and scars on the body as well.
It's great on the face but since nudity may happen as well as some outfits being more revealing, it gets weird when only the face is tattooed but not the body.

-Curvier, slightly chubbier body shape for women, slightly chubbier for men too.
For humans at least, and for other similar species where it applies. Mages might not look super fit after all.

Just made a Half-Orc Barbarian and I was quite disappointed there is no voice to go with them. Totally breaks the character immersion for me. I tried to play through, but I just can't. Lower intellect dialog options like in Arcanum would be nice too. Still an amazing game nonetheless.

Voice 6 works for female half orcs... kinda. It's deeper than the male voices at any rate.

Honestly I've had this issue with Owlcat's Pathfinder games as well. Half-orcs have very little culture or self identity at all. Since neither game series wants to have full on Orcs it seems, we are left with half orcs, whom in most settings assume that their parents actually loved each other, but nothing ever comes of that. Either we need a full orc race in these kinda games, or we need more in depth EVERYTHING about the orcs and their offspring.

I felt the exact same way. I was all excited to do a play through as a Half Orc only to at best be able to create a milquetoast version of a Half-Orc who sounds like he had been attending a prep school in the UK.

orcs and dwarves are lacking in the voice. Like someone said all they sound like well educated english people.

The half-orc doesn't sound like you think it should? Well, then, why don't you turn the sound down and use your imagination. You do have an imagination, don't you?

That's what I do. But then, I'm hearing impaired and I have to do that with all the voices.

So maybe you should just be grateful you can hear the voices instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because they don't sound like you think they should.

As a guy born legally blind and partially deaf (among other things,) shut the ♥♥♥♥ up, you bitter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's a legitimate complaint.

It might not be as direly needed as UI scaling for me and proper multiplayer chat for you but that doesn't give you an excuse to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to him.

And no, we can't completely mute just our own character.

Given that there is no real need for a player voice, i'm surprised there isn't at least a "mute" version where you select no voice.

Look, Larian, 40kalready perfected orc voices, just hire the VAs who did the voices for the Dawn of War orks and call it a day. It's what we all want. Nobody wants a posh orc. I want a loud, rude cockney hooligan. Class and background don't matter, it's always a brash cockney hooligan voice. From Nobleborn Bard to Acolyte Cleric, give us the cockney hooligan voice.
