Kethric Thorms Hammer
Anyone else grab this thing during fight? It's a pos, I was expecting it to be much better! Is there something else to it?

The problem with DnD is that weapons can't grow as you progress, so the base damage and the elemental bonus will always stay the same for a weapon type. The difference with lies in the skills that they offer you. Kethrics Warhammer has 3 different skills that apply different afflictions, which is A, unusual and B, depending on the rest of your gear or party can be quite usefull.

I myself found it very lackluster as I cannot get much out of it. The Brace of the Moonglaive or the stun from the Soulbreaker are my go to weapons.

Ohh and btw, most people don't think about the fact that you can keep different weapons to work around the cooldown of those skills. Most of them only reset when shortresting, some like the stun only on a long rest. So after I used the stun of the Soulbreaker, I swap my weapon for a different weapon so I have another cool skill. So, even though Thorms Hammer isn't the best option all around, it might be the best option for the rest of the day.

Not really, there are way better warhammers in the game.

Makes for a nice doorstopper.

A lot of the gear is highly specific for a play style to utilize it. There's a bunch of gear that works around illuminating targets or yourself that are largely useless for anyone that doesn't want to be seen.
And you're never going to really find something that makes you OP in any way. They've done a solid job making sure everything is balanced.

Absurd that the act 2 end boss has trash loot. Who is in charge of itemization? Fire them.
