Today's patch made the game start crashing constantly

Been playing fine since I got it, now after today's patch It crashes to desktop immediately after loading, maybe a few seconds of the game being on screen, or sometimes not even that.

wtf.

EDIT: So it seemed to be a DX11 issue and you could play on Vulkan, which many people including myself did for the evening. Apparently though they *fixed* the issue by rolling back the update, and with it any/all saves made during that time. Lost like 5 hours of gameplay... -.-

FINAL EDIT: they addressed the issue and re-released the patch after a day, the disabled saves are now usable and dx11 works again. Things seem to be back to normal.

Same for me. I have played over 80 hours before the patch with zero issues.

Yep, I'm having the same issue. I'm at the part where the gnolls are attacking the guys in the cave, every time the gnoll leader attacks for the first time, my game crashes.

Same, I'm able to leave the camp but crashes right afterwards. I'm already on Direct X11 and have been running since launch without issue until now.

Not a single crash in way over 100hours of playtime, 10 Mintues after downloading the patch i already crashed.

Same for me too. Playing on steamdeck. I’ve experienced no crashes before today’s hotfix

Same. Never had a crash, now crashing to desktop immediately after loading, every time. Had a night of playing planned :-(

3rd save game loaded, the 2nd and 3rd only crashed when i moved the camera to look at another area. once the camera couldn't see the party the game crashed. The first crash wasn't like that, it crashed as i loaded.

Last patch was much the same, try rebooting your computer, seemed to fix it for most people.

Didn't for me, worked fine. Can't say what the issue might be for anyone else.

i cant even load the game now, 2 seconds into loading save and it crashes.
