*spoilers* Act II Lower City access

I went through questing in the first region and wanted to continue into the lower city, so I went to the South Span Checkpoint, where I got stopped and robbed by some stupid fist gal, Edwynna.
After cooperating, the steel watcher tells me, I am an enemy of the absolute (well ofc I am, ♥♥♥♥ those guys), and wants to imprison me. Me and my party don't like that.
So now they're wormfood and so far every other fist guy is hostile.

Do I have to murder everyone from now on? RP wise, I won't go to prison at all costs. But it should also be a chaotic/neutral good playthrough.

Can I avoid those idiots at the gate? Can I finish the game even though I'm on a self defence murder spree?

First of all, it's act 3. Second of all, just use the path beneath them (go right if u face them).

After a lot of looking, I finally spotted a platform close enough even for my weakest current party member to jump. No fight. No hostility.

The minimap won't help here. Gotta use your eyes and don't zoom all the way in or out.

(I play on controller and zoomed in feels more 3rd-person-y. More fool me. Zoomed out a bit and there it was. I had my party walk past it so many times. I'll still probably miss stuff because I like the 3rd-person-y exploration mode. Zoom out for tactical stuff, though.)
