Planescape Torment remake
Imagine if they remade Planescape Torment with this engine, keeping the story and characters, but with this turn based combat. If anyone could do it, it would be Larian.

Heck, whatever Larian comes up with next, I'll be excited.

Planescape:Torment in this engine would be outstanding. I'd love to see a game set initially in 2E Planescape with room for more and more and more.

Yeah, I want to see them again. Annah, the burning man, the dude who abides, fall from grace, even Morte

I would prefer them making a new game after that. Planescape: Torment is perfectly playable these days with Enhanced Edition. Combat might not be too great, but it's not the reason you play the game.
Agreed, the game sold like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when it came out, it's better appreciated as a piece of art tbh. The real hard truth tho is the sword coast is milked, Sigil would be a perfect place to make a new game. All the campaign settings exist inside of Planescape, the story potential here is limitless.

Problem is, it would have to be 5E... for legal matters alone. Also this is what most players favor nowadays. No one can keep fans from doing some fan stuff, of course... would be a bit of too much effort, though, for something that only would appeal to a handful of oldies.
But yeah, would love to see PS:T just with the graphics of BG3.
Not sure about the combat though. Combat was never meant to be the main focus of PS:T anyway.

EVEN Morte? But he is so funny. His taunts and remarks...
Not sure about Ignus (the burning man). Don't really like him. But sure. Why not? Hm, he could be found on the Plane of Fire maybe.
Dak'kon (I think you mean him by "who abides" probably is dead by now. He was already old in PS:T, and in BG2 EE you can find his blade, and in the description it says that he died while travelling with the Nameless One. Well, as this is EE/mod stuff and you can get an ending where all your companions survive, this can be ignored I guess. Just thought how funny it would be to crossover BG3... with all the Githyanki. Could be interesting.
Fall-From-Grace might be still alive. She could be anywhere.
I would want to see Nordom, too.
Not sure about Vhailor, he is a bit too obsessed with punishment for my taste.
And I would want to see the Nameless One. If he still exists, somewhere... there are a lot of things I still don't know about 4th and 5th edition, I only heard that the Blood War ended at a point, and... well, if it is possible that he can still be found somewhere on the Lower Planes... maybe Grace is still searching him... who knows...

Indeed. That's what is so great about this setting. Almost everything is possible.
