It would look pretty neat to use a 'dragoon' jump attack and it actually looks like the character is doing a cool jump from a specific angle, rather than a 'fly up and disappear' and then come down on another turn later on.
Yes its a different planet to Faerun.. where BG3 is held. Same as Dragonlance Krynn is another..
D&D in general loves all of it's spell casting systems, but the melee combat system isn't really that exciting as it's pretty standard attacks for the most part, until you get to the recent attack moves that are attached to weapons and such.
Torment's one of those games that hasn't aged well and wasn't really finished. They wanted to add so much more to that game, and you can tell where things were cut/buggy.
