Request: Please stop killing downed characters after combat
I've had the same problem a few times now. Combat ends, and I have a character KO'd. I know that, under 5E rules, they will keep making death saves until they stabilise or die. I can revive them using healing magic or helping them. But when combat ends it stops being turned based and switches to real time. I don't always have time to heal them or switch back to turn based before the downed character becomes a corpse. Even if turn based mode didn't end it would be fine.

just use a scroll, you get a fair bit and eventually if you have a cleric youll get a revive spell. When combat ends just turn it turn base right away. 1 turn is a couple of seconds in real time. Ive never had issues with this though. And i just deal with what happens as in I rarely save scum.

There is also a manual method to enable turn based, hover over the hour class and it shows the commant.

They don't kill a character after combat. They keep rolling his death/stabilise roles.
What happens to them is technically the same as if turn based mode didn't stop. Just that it happens about every 6 seconds automatically.

True, but I just found out it's not always that simple. I just beat a bulette in a fight and one of my characters was KO'd in the fight. Catch is, that character was the current party leader. The game won't let you go into turn based mode if the current leader is incapacitated.

that's not true in the slightest. you can enter Turn Based Mode regardless of leader characters status.

Just be thankful it's not permadeath. Nothing quite so fun as Wall of Fire over three units away from nearest party member, only to discover something explosive that yeets them off the nearest (or furthest) cliff when it goes pop.

use help on them, if they're KO they don't even need a heal to save.

You literally just have to click on them

Well, when I tried to go into turn based mode with the leader KO'd it didn't let me.
