Malta the Cat in act 3

I met this orange cat near the Casador mansion and it looked like I passed her test. Anyone knows if I can meet him/her again?

If you speak with dwarf lady from Apothecary you can tell the cat that she will be better partner for him. He goes there and is thankfull for finding him home :)

It doesn't seem to work for me.. she isn't that friendly and i don't have the option for sending Malta there. I didn't gave her the flower bafore, could that be a factor?

It was not Malta who would get adopted, but the white cat in the alley to the right of Apothecary shop with a unique dialect if you had Speak to Animal. To my knowledge you could only do this second step if the husband of dwarf lady from Apothecary died in act 1.
