Stuck on Gauntlet of Shar quest

So, this game is increasingly confusing with it quests the more I progress. Right now, my last objective in the main quest is to complete the Gauntlet of Shar.... but, what am I supposed to do?

I completed the 3 trials and collected the 3 orbs, went to the Silent Library and went inside to collect the two armor parts and the spear, and now I have no indication what I'm supposed to do... what is the gauntlet of shar? I thought I need to complete the trials and collect the 3 orbs then proceed. help pls

You need a 4th orb, which means there's more area to explore. There's a control pedastal where all 4 orbs need to be placed, once you find them all. Keep looking. I don't want to spoil it for you, but probably a good idea to be on your toes.

4th orb is laying down at the big demon boss altar

1: Leave the library and turn right out of the library and use the elevator with the lever.
2: Go up to the next level and turn left out of the elevator.
3: Follow the hall and go down the broken area and jump the gap. (There is an elevator that uses obs you will pass, but you need the last orb first so go down and jump the broken gap)
You should see a displacer beast. (Large cat with tentacles). It can lead you to the last orb you need, and there are multiple ways to solve this area so you'll have to choose, but you can see the orb near a bunch of bones.
4: Once you solve the area through combat or chat, take the orb and go up (jumping the gap) back to the orb elevator, put them in and the rest is pretty straight forward.
