Combat rolls are 100% rigged
The only difficulty in tactician is the fact that nothing hits above 65% unless youre constantly in perfect position, enemy spells never fail, but they always save. Constant breaking of concentration. Its just lazy lazy challenge. I am level 7 almost 8 and totally geared out and I actually feel like im getting weaker. My damage out put is constantly being stiffed, attack magic for me seems extremely lack luster but enemies are constantly rolling insane damage. At this point im 100% sure the dice roll for enemy AI isn't really random. Seems like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that just pads the difficulty with constant misses that waste my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ life. My fights shouldnt be constant struggles to hit enemies in a game where position and strategy should matter more. Cast confusion and manage to nail 4 enemy guards who ALL save 1st turn, even the non magic using enemies. that to me means 100% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥ this game to be honest Ill be happy to beat it and be done.

I play with karmic off. Play as a bard. Rolled double ones. It was awesome. Love this gqame.

yeah. thats because games never have had success at emulating chance in games and it needs to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stop. i have NEVER found a game that emulates chance. either its always rigged in the AI favor or is just stupidly inconsistant. such as being right against an enemy and only having a 12% hit chance in some games....when will devs learn?

Tactician just seems like masochism, and there isn't even an achievement for it so why do it at all? I would imagine it's like taking Skyrim on the highest difficulty setting where you have to hit a Troll 5000 times with a razor sharp sword to kill it, just stupid and time consuming just because.
there is an achievement, tho.
The "dice" are 100% rigged in favor for you to fail. There is absolutely no question about that. Don't look at % to hit, see it as "is this what I want to try and do this turn"

Please, people need to stop with this rigging nonsense. There is no rigging going on. Its a random dice roll, sometimes you fail sometimes you succeed. You can bring up the combat log to see exactly why you failed an attack and what you rolled. Sure you can say oh but i always roll low, yeah well that's just bad luck isn't it? doesn't mean its rigged in any way just the way the dice falls so to speak. I have succeeded on 30% rolls, i have failed at 90% rolls, it is what it is. That is what random is.

You can also just turn karmic dice on if you want to roll more average. It will prevent bad luck streaks but it will also prevent good luck streaks and it will affect enemies as well so they are also less likely to get bad rolls against you. Is your choice.
So I actually have proof they are. Spoilers Ahead

When fighting Gortash for the first opportunity (Throne Room Coronation) you have to fight him and his Iron Giant ripoffs. When you usually fight them in the streets they can hit hard but nothing insane. Now obviously there is a lot of them, but when I attempted the fight in the room all of my party members were one shot. I tried again, just to see if damage rolls would be different and nope, all of the guards managed to one shot my Maxed out lvl 12 party with legendary and epic gear.

Went to assault the foundry and got crit missed most attacks. Sus ♥♥♥♥

So you got destroyed in a fight the game explicitly tells you that you will get destroyed if you try it ? Oh wow, shocking. The game must be poorly balanced am i right ?
You're doing something wrong op. Even with a group of 4 casters and no metaknowledge, those levels were a breeze for me, just like the rest of the game on tactician.

You're likely not using any kind of synergy or strategy and just randomly clicking enemies in combat.

Considering I came back and beat it afterwards, no.

Still beat it, just required literally not getting touched by them. My point still stands, the game rigs dice rolls (Refer to final attempt to Dominate NetherBrain being 99) which I still got a Crit Success on and it failed (Obviously you get a debuff for it in the final fight but again, this is about rigged dice rolls

you literally have no evidence of it being rigged just because you have a bit of bad luck, and game telling you "you cannot pass this even with a nat 20" is just normal D&D, theres things the DM wont let you do even if you roll 2 nat 20s in a row.

Awww another dice roller with reading comp issues. Refer to where I reloaded multiple times to check their attack rolls in the hall and in the street. Also I understand that, I have DM'd for 10 years and played DnD prob longer than youve been alive.

Nice VAC Ban btw, clearly you don't understand rules and limitations

Play as monk or barbarian. Consistent 95-99% odds.
Think I'm just going to start muting people that whine about dice probability since the majority of them don't even know what they are talking about and I'm tired of seeing it.
Good day OP.
