Sadly, it has no bonuses relevant to monks. Time to mode the cats grace armor to look like the poisoner's robe!
ok thanks. I am planning to restart a game and planning to go for either paladin or war cleric with monk as third option if I want to go dex character again. But I like my character to look immersive to the role he is playing and monk looking a bit bland on the armor department can affect me haha. My bard really looks cool on his light armor especially after I got minthara's armor for him haha.
there are good looking cloth armour midgame?
Nothing says I have to look like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clown to be functional. I really hate that we can't just put anything in the Camp Clothes slot. Alot of the Footware for Camp isn't suitable for long journeys and I would like the option of putting some of the boots in there.
Yea I discovered this function but it also removes everything including weapon appearance. Basically makes our character seem like in camp with no weapons etc. Although I did consider it since monks are unarmed anyway haha
It is not weapons we are talking about but rather cloth armour appearance if you decide to go dex build and unarmoured. So far most I have seen are wizard robes etc.
Op ain't looking for functionality. He's looking for that drip and bling, as the kids say. Do the kids still say that?
idk how or why but STR monk is superior. i have 22 AC instead of the 18 i had, more hp and more dmg
Yea I think str monk is good. However I have decided on going elemental monk once I get the dexterity ring. I find the monk spells super cool although not convenient to use at lower lvl compared to open hand. Once I get dex ring I will respec my attribute since the ring automatically gives me 18 dex. I will then put all those dex point to my str then wisdom. I will be having 18 str. (with Ethel and tavern brawl) 18 dex (ring) and 18+ wisdom. This way I can still maintain unarmoured and still get decent AC while still also hitting hard on melee. I just tested and having both str and dex at equal amount makes the monk still use dex as their primary attritbute so that with tavern brawl I get the str attribute as bonus on top of my dex bonuses :)
Yea I planned to do this before. just concentrate on dex then just take hilll giant buuut that would make my str higher than dex and would negate the benefit from it unless I make my dex also 21. With my setup of 18 str and dex 18 (ring) I can consistently play like a real monk with both my str and dex giving me attack bonus and damage on unarmed attacks. also can have high insight (wis) too. With high wisdom it would make my hadokens and Shoryukens better too. :)
