I just find it funny that people are out here declaring it is IMPOSSIBLE to even implement them into a video game format
I have seen countless videos talking about how
"It is an absolute masterpiece. Completely bug and glitch free. Released perfectly with no issues"
Yeah. I've had fun playing it. But it still has plenty of bugs and glitches.
Yeah, I remember dropping multiple Meteor Swarms during a Time Stop in NWN. Ludicrous
When I DM for players in 5e we usually don't go beyond 8th level or so. I think the highest was 10, because we enjoyed the grounded aspect of the campaign. I imagine this game's narrative is very similar, can't imagine it would make canonical sense for the characters to be demigods.
RAW say others are invulnerable while you're under the influence of time stop. It's meant to let you buff yourself
Just watch a few Baldur's Gate 3 videos on YouTube. They'll start popping up.

Sounds hilarious though.
But that is what D&D is all about. Using the mechanics of the game to pull off some insane moves.
Fair enough, I think the scope of the game just was not large enough. Which in my opinion is a good thing, as it kept things focused and complete. Otherwise you'd get scope creep and we'd be in EA for another year or two. Also it's not fair to compare an isometric RPG like BG2 with more modern games. Graphics, art, tech, and in general video game development have changed and costs have gone up. Making bg2 today would not take today's team of 400 people and almost 7 years to make.
What has that have to do with 'bugs' and glitches?
Just asking, because if you make a topic about one thing, then suddenly complain why there's no higher level spells, I am not sure what message you are trying to get over?
