Caravan Strongbox - Where to deliver it?

So I'm not sure where to deliver the strongbox to, no one recognizes it nor do I get any option related to it.

Here's the steps I've taken:

Helped retrieve the strongbox from the cave
Schemed to flip it in BG
Went to the cave of Zhentarim
Killed the thief
Agreed to sell it in BG
-Nothing to do and nothing in the quest log-

Only place where I noticed something related to the zhentarim was at the post-office but that seemed to be letter-related.

Currently bugged. Found some random Zhents in the Guild that you can finally deliver the box to them, but they...Don't seem to give you a reward. The dialogue *says* they will. ...But they don't.

Did you take it to the hideout beneath Waukeen’s Rest?

If you open it by mistake, can you hold onto the box and deliver it personally once you reach BG, or is the quest over? Somehow the lady underground can tell it was opened, but if I kill her the quest does not end.

It's not a bug. You didn't find the right place to deliver. Wrong address.

If you would just take your time before you snatch the Caravan Strongbox by force, by sneaky sleigh-of-hands or peaceful escort the Zhent NPCs that got surrounded by Monsters said they were ON THE WAY TO DELIVER THIS CARAVAN STRONGBOX TO THE NEAREST ZHENT OUTPOST AT WAUKEEN'S REST. They literally said it. like seriously. stop spam skip dialogue next time before you fully read what it entails.

Go to Waukeen's rest if by force is auto trigger/fail delivery, no biggie because Zhent Outpost Leader will just lit and sacrifice everyone on the ground and ran further into the caves; go by sneaky you can choose to wait the Zhent NPCs back there catch up with you and it can go hostile or peaceful either way; Sneaky is get yourself ticket to go into Zhent Outpost to talk to traders and artist below, then can go up to talk to the Zhent Outpost Leader and she ask you to find Caravan Strongbox should Zhent NPCs that perished; since you have it you can hand it over should you didn't tempted to open it - you hand it over after open it she automatically turn hostile and say you shouldn't open it and make everyone in cave outpost hostile.

The problem isn't handing it in there, it's if you negotiate selling it on her behalf. This will in turn cause a half-assed end of the questline with no good place to deliver the chest to .

It's not a bug. You didn't find the right place to deliver. Wrong address.

Unfortunately it seems it is, most are aware you could pawn the box to the zhent hideout, but theres another option you are supposed to have that glitches out, which is what you were replying to

The point is, after delivering the box to the Zentarin Hideout, they tell you to bring it to Baldurs Gate. And at this point there is nothing more. I have the Box, i am in Act 3, i am in Baldurs Gate. But there is no place you can bring it to.

The letter that comes with the delivery implies it's Nine-Fingers who wants the box but there's no option to deliver it to her.

Nine Fingers does NOT want the box. So far the only person that seems interested is Slick Inatra (in the Guildhall, Undercellar) and she speks of a reward and does the animation, but you get nothing. It is obviously bugged.

I wonder if you can give it to someone else later on (I doubt it) or regardless of the missing reward, the simple fact of giving it to her could unlock some dialogues as in "oh you are the one that brought the cargo to us", but who knows.

Sad to see it STILL bugged, as I figure it would be a very easy fix.

There is a letter on the roof of the open hand temple from the Rivington postmaster to Ruah Moonglow complaining that Zarys has not delivered the box to him. So ... I would try delivering to the post office. Unless you have already tried that?

That may get me a reward. The bug is still there though, Slick Inatra accepts the strongbox, says that she is giving you a reward, you get the animation for the reward, but NO reward.
