Why can't we romance Alfira? Not fair!
This is unfair to players and we need to this option in a future update.

If you can sleep with Halsin....which I find bizarre because the dude is supposed to fulfill more of a old & wise mentor and guide type of role to your party.... but fine whatever I'll chalk it up to Larian needing bear-s3x clickbait to promote the game, so let's roll with it.

But if that's an option the PC should be able to romance and sleep with Alfira at some point - this could also create some interesting/funny situations if you are currently romancing another party member at the same time e.g. Shadowheart or Laezel.

I haven't even got to Act 2/3 yet, but I have suspicious feeling that many of the female characters in those Acts that might join your camp may not be able to be romanced either (those of you that have played Act 2/3 feel free to confirm or disagree, but no spoilers please).

Dude is literally a daddy bear. There's an established market for that and he acts like one I'd hang and have a drink with.
...You literally have just one chat with her about music. Some other aside but its not flirtatious in nature. And you can actually see her develop a relationship with a different npc throughout the acts.

Uhhh that's a minor technical issue the player can fix...Would be interesting if the boyfriend unexpectedly died during the the goblin raid.... ; )

and then you get close to her in Act 2 and seal the deal in Act 3, ta daaaa.

Well, about that first part, the connection you can have with her is about as deep as it could be for Halsin. The fact that your encounter was more brief and didn't involve slaughtering a bunch of goblins doesn't mean chemistry isn't possible.

That said, she was very drunk at the party and so even if you could romance her then, it would be pretty suspect.

Haven't played beyond that to see her later on.

I was more expecting the other tiefling woman at the party, the one who was clearly sounding flirtatious, to be an option, but no.

Alright, but even if, I doubt that she goes to the next person 30min after her parter died. However, it is a pity. I liked her more than anyone else, especially because I chose to be a bardbarian.

Just cuz her partner dies doesn't mean she'll immediately be down to get with some random person who she doesnt even actively travel with and barely interacts with.

oh I'm totally good with not romancing her. Just sorta bummed I don't get to see the relationship arc this run through.

I'm not overly interested in romancing most of the characters I'm allowed to. Not because of sexuality but because the romance just feels sorta badly written.

But she can actively travel with you after that in Act 2/3. I mean, all the other romance options/camp members with their own major issues become horny for you within just act 1, why not alfira.

BG3 actually convinced me that romancing npcs should probably just go away. Gale, Astarian, and all of the other male-male non-consensual, unasked for propositioning revolted me to where I almost stopped playing the damn game.

Just get rid of it imo; it adds very little anyway. And, if it IS going to stay then a player should 100% be the one to make the 1st move.
