Looks like they cut out half the game. And it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shows
Uhhh that's a minor technical issue the player can fix...Would be interesting if the boyfriend unexpectedly died during the the goblin raid.... ; )
and then you get close to her in Act 2 and seal the deal in Act 3, ta daaaa.
Well, about that first part, the connection you can have with her is about as deep as it could be for Halsin. The fact that your encounter was more brief and didn't involve slaughtering a bunch of goblins doesn't mean chemistry isn't possible.
That said, she was very drunk at the party and so even if you could romance her then, it would be pretty suspect.
Haven't played beyond that to see her later on.
I was more expecting the other tiefling woman at the party, the one who was clearly sounding flirtatious, to be an option, but no.
I'm not overly interested in romancing most of the characters I'm allowed to. Not because of sexuality but because the romance just feels sorta badly written.
But she can actively travel with you after that in Act 2/3. I mean, all the other romance options/camp members with their own major issues become horny for you within just act 1, why not alfira.
Just get rid of it imo; it adds very little anyway. And, if it IS going to stay then a player should 100% be the one to make the 1st move.
