Stuck on Ambush the Convoy: ACT 2
Some how I killed the quest before I killed Marcus at the inn, so when I went to leave and talked to the Harper on the bridge i could not get them to start the ambush... I was only able to tell them what kind of creature the lantern carrier was.
I have explore all the map except the deep shadow areas.

Is there any other way of getting a lantern other than running into the deep shadow area to get to the tower?

I did the opposite somehow.
I triggered the Drider before I talked with the Harpers who want to ambush them.
Now the harpers are trying to kill me as well.... after I saved Isobel by killing Marcus... it makes no sense, because Lassandra is there too, and she should know me...

same happening here, I've already save Isobel from Marcus, yet the mission is never triggered. As soon as I approach the harpers they attack me

I triggered the drider before, so I guess the game expect you to follow the convoy and therefore the ambush will never be triggered. If you approach the harpers they will attack, so unless you don't want to kill them, then you should follow the convoy and then join forces with the harpers.

From what I read online, after entering the Inn, some harpers stay close to the exit, if you to talk with them, then you can join their ambush. Don't know if it's before or after Marcus' attack.
I think the moment you talk talk with the Drider before you talk with the Harpers, they will already be in position and you can't talk to them anymore.
Following the Caravan or walking with them doesn't matter at that point. You have to talk to them before they leave the Inn.

Can't say if that's how it is though.
