People like to be silly in D&D.
5e is a simplified ruleset anyway -- the big battles were over 3rd edition and Pathfinder. I feel like anyone who calls themselves a fan of 5e in particular is going to of necessity prefer a more relaxed approach.
Of course it's the internet -- someone's going to find a reason to be mad about something.
Too bad this isn't "a good D&D-based video game".
Except that one guy who decided to give it a negative review for not going to level 14.
and in which case: they probably wont care cause its not the P&P anyway.
plus they have no real ground to stand on anyway: wizzy coast changes the rules per adventure path at times anyway.
