Could use some opinions on a Lockadin build

I'm having a hard time settling on a level split on a Paladin/Warlock gish character.
The image shows two variations I'm considering, I could use another opinion on which you guys think would be functionally more sound. Any thoughts would be welcome.

paladin aura is only 10ft, and paladin don't get animate dead until lvl9. so to fully effective with aura, your undead minions need to literally hug your paladin all the time

yeah now that i realized this was an oathbreaker build, unless they changed OB 7 aura, 6/6 is def better

TBF, if I had undead minions, I would insist they hugged me all the time, too.

Yeah this is very much meant to be a Dark Urge Fallen Paladin build. Otherwise for sure I'd be going Oath of Ancients for the spell resist.

Honestly, in that case check if the level 7 aura is worth it, then decide.

Just do 4 - 8 split and get a third asi, +2 cha and auntie ethels hair nets you 20 cha if you start with 17.

Pick up pam and gwm to supplement. Profit. As a smity paly you only need the lock levels for potb and ebs.

Aura still affects you, and with 20CHA, I'm not going to snub my nose at an extra 5 damage on hit.
