EDIT: It's funny how a company uses EA in ostensibly the intended way and people will still complain about it.
Early Access Supporters are getting the full game with 28 days early access!
As it releases on PC platforms on August 3rd!
It's only a month early for all the people who didn't support early access.
BG3 taught me that.
That's kind of funny considering Larians track record with EA's has been good, unlike many Early Access games that were never finished or are still in "development" 5+ years later.
Fair enough--those who insist can wait and have their 3 days. The rest of us will get 1 month.
The Steamworks page says -
Early Access is not meant to be a form of pre-purchase, but a tool to get your game in front of Steam users and gather feedback while finishing your game.
Early Access titles must deliver a playable game or usable software to the customer at the time of purchase, while pre-purchase games are delivered at a future date.
Early Access is a tool to develop your game with the community by giving them access to your title before it is officially released.
Larian did just that. Not sure why you're calling it a con.
