1. They are working on an xbox release right now. The parity rule with xbox means they have to release on X and S consoles without any reduction to features or mechanics. The Xbox S graphical ability is close to the graphical ability of the M2 ipad pro. So the Ipad has the hardware needed to run it.
2. The company has a track record of porting their games to IOS. So there is plenty of precedent.
Maybe its later in the timetable. Larian Studios has enough experience to deliver it to ipad. But maybe the do it later, while there is some stuff to fix and they will release it for macs with the same m1 and m2 processors in the following days.
This game would be awesome on an iPad
