It is perhaps worth noting that a chunk of those are original creations by Matt Mercer and the Critical Role folks, and therefore aren't technically "official", just supported.
True, but "supported" is good enough for me :) Especially since the list keeps going & the PHB pretty much says that just about any type of variant can exist.
I don't watch CR, so that is neat to know. I have heard of these elves in other novels so I dunno if he "created" them, maybe that version of them though with certain perks/traits/specific feats.
I wonder how that works with the OGL 1.0 because I know many people were upset WOTC could use their IP without permission or notification in the "updated" version.
Avariel is unlikely because people tend to have weird hang ups against flying characters.
For sure, for sure. I'm playing an Eladrin warlock in a campaign right now, and the Fey Step is so satisfying.
