Since when did all of Balder's gate relocated to Britain?

Because Larian is a studio from Belgium. And in Europe, the standard english is british, not american.

You're absolutely right. Cannonicaly the sword coast is supposed to be located in New Jersey. What are Larian thinking?!

What? Having played the EA 2.5 times I never got that impression at all.... You do know the studios that made this game, are they British? Even if that was the case(which it isn't), how are they meant to sound in your opinion?

Because England is very much the place of origin for the fantasy genre as we know it in modern times.

Scottish writer George MacDonald is considered the founding father of the genre, who inspired writers like Tolkien

cos was Canadian, this game is dev'd by studio out of Belgium, obvi a lot easier for them to hire british voice actors than bother go all the way to states for em.

Scottish people are British. The word British refers to any of the people from the island of Great Britain: the English, the Welsh and the Scots. Ireland is considered one of the British Isles, but it's not Great Britain and its people are not considered British (they are also not a part of the United Kingdom in modern days, with exception of Northern Ireland).

Only partly correct.

There is The Republic of Ireland which is an independent country recognised by the UN.

There is also Northern Ireland that is very much part of The United Kingdom and not recognised as an independent country. The same as Scotland and Wales.
